Speaking Engagements

For fifteen years Fred competed for England and Great Britain at the highest level in the world of athletics as a Long Jumper, accumulating over 30 international representations.

This included competing at the European, Commonwealth and World Championships in addition to representing Cameroon at the 1988 Olympic Games (Seoul Korea).

His greatest achievements were winning the World Cup for Great Britain in 1994, securing a silver medal for England at the Commonwealth Games in 1986, and captaining an England team in 1995.

During and subsequent to the above, he built an impressive IT career, working with companies such as RBS, HSBC, Reuters, AOL, Citibank, Microsoft, State Street Bank and Trade Indemnity, whilst maintaining the discipline, desire and motivation to compete at the highest levels of sport, which he was particularly admired for.

Fred is an accomplished platform speaker and is happy to share the experiences and principles that have helped him achieve sports, career and personal goals.

He speaks to a variety of audiences that include youth organisations, schools, academic institutions and businesses.
